Paren
Paren in Dooars is another small village on the edges of the Neora Valley National Park. It covers a distance of 112kms from siliguri and 10km away from Jaldhaka. Paren is popular for its forest area, hilly terrain, meandering rivers and agricultural fields, it is an ideal destination for nature lover. Jaldhaka which is 10km distance from Paren is famous for the Jhaldhaka Hydel Power Station and another popular destination is Todey Tangta from Paren, is an uphill station from where you can see the spectacular view of surrounding area and Jungle. Tourist can also visit Cardamom Curing centre located 14kms away. Bindu few kilometers from Paren is a tourist hotspot which is famous for Bindu Hydel power station and Dam. Tourist can also view the beautiful sight of the converging point of Bindu and Jaldhaka.
