Malbazar
Malbazar is a small sub divisional town also known as Mal located in the Northern part of the State of West Bengal. It is about 65 km from Jalpaiguri town and 55 km from Siliguri. Malbazar is one of the most prominent towns in Dooars, the town is strategically located in the eastern part of the Dooars region. Malbazar is mainly known for Tea Gardens and is famous Mal Park where lots of tourist used to visit there. The word Mal means ‘goods’ and Bazar means ‘Market’ so the word Malbazar now became a famed tourist attraction area in Dooars region. Though the town Malbazar does not have much to offer to the tourist except for the beautiful Mal Park and Tea Garden but now it is one of the famous tourist spot in Dooars region.

The biggest tourist attraction in Malbazar is the beautiful Tea Garden named Raja Tea Estate the Mal Park and the newly built "Bajarangbali Temple" which is extremely famous in this zone.
Nearby tourist attraction area from Malbazar: while travelling to Malbazar there is a beautiful Teesta River in sevok flowing towards Kalimpong side and Wildlife sanctuary located on Sevoke Road falls route to Malbazar which is quite interesting to see. Apart from that various forests like Chapramari, Gorumara, Chalsa, Khunia and Chukchikia located all around Malbazar where lots of tourist held there to see creative green forest out there. Other nearby places includes the twin villages of Suntaleykhola Jhalong, Bindu and Samsing perched can also be visited on a day trips from Malbazar. Kumlai is also one of the famous picnic spot near Malbazar where lots of people used to go for picnic in season outhere. Actually there is lots of ravishing things to do around Malbazar like tourist can take a long walk along the river banks, they can enjoy some fishing in the knee deep Murti River or they can also try in tea plucking, enjoy a safari in the nearby forest. They can also enjoy wildlife viewing from the forest watch towers like Chandrachur Tower, Jatraprasad, Chapramari Tower, Rhino Point and Chuk Chuk.
