Transfer to Buxa from New Alipurduar/NJP

Day 1

On the first day when you arrive in New Alipurduar/ New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you will be meeting our humble officials who are there to greet you. After having the warm welcome, the reserved car will be escorting you to the resort at Buxa. The long 168 kilometres journey from NJP or 116km from New Mal Jn. is quite smoothing and you can see the green gardens and the dense forest on the way. After reaching the resort, spend a relaxing time in the resort and get freshen up. Have the appetizing food in the resort and relax for a while to get rid of the tiring journey. Spend the day roaming on the surroundings and feel the serenity of Buxa. After having a delicious dinner, overnight stay at Buxa.

Sightseeing at Buxa-Jayanti & transfer to Chilapata

Day 2

The second day morning of Lataguri Chilapata Buxa tour will start with the sightseeing in Buxa and Jayanti. The car will drive you to excellent places around Jayanti. The first visit will be in Buxa Fort. This place is quite popular for historical significance. On the colonial era, the fort was used as a prison. Eventually, Subhash Chandra Bose was also imprisoned here and the popularity increases of Buxa Fort. Next, you will be heading for the Pokhri Hill. From Jayanti, it is just 4 kilometres. Pokhri Hill offers an amazing trekking opportunity to the tourists. From the top, you can have a delighting glance at the Buxa Tiger Reserve. The hilltop is surrounded by greenness and the seaming view of the pristine land is just amazing. You can visit the sacred pond located in Pokhri Hill which is filled with fishes and turtles. The next destination to explore is the TGNM watchtower. The watchtower is 3 kilometres from Jayanti and covered with the lush green forest. The magnificent view of the Buxa Tiger Reserve from the watchtower is stunning and from there you can have a look to the wild animals like deer, elephants and if you are fortunate enough sometimes you may see the Tiger or the leopard. After spending a well-spent time in sightseeing, you are about to move towards Chilapata. The way towards Chilapata is full of forestation and you can enjoy the beautiful view of the surroundings. As you reach the resort, check in to it and get freshen up. Have a tasty dinner in the resort and spend a restful night at Chilapata.

Jungle Safari at Chilapata & sightseeing at Phuentsholing

Day 3

On the third day of your 5n 6d Lataguri Chilapata Buxa Tour, have a thrilling experience of jungle safari in Chilapata Forest. Avail a jeep from there and go to the core to witness the ultimate wilderness. The national park is famous for its availability of one-horned Rhinoceros and the rarest Bengal florican bird. There are also elephant, leopard, Indian gaur, hog deer, spotted deer, mountain goat, etc. to witness. After having a thrilling experience in the safari return back to the resort, have lunch on the way or after reaching the resort. Next, go for sightseeing to Phuentsholing from where you can have a nice view of Bhutan. Visit Ammo Chhu crocodile breeding centre which is a fine destination for the wildlife enthusiasts. Apart from this, you will be visiting Phuentsholing Park and Karbandi Monastery too. After, sightseeing at Phuentsholing, return back to your resort. After dinner, overnight stay at Chilapata.

Transfer to Lataguri & Jungle Safari

Day 4

The next day move towards Lataguri after a light breakfast at the resort of Chilapata. Lataguri is a village near Gorumara National park known for its rich tropical forest, innumerable hill streams and serene ambience. Upon reaching, get into your resort and refresh yourself. Prepare for having the safari into the dense of the Gorumara forest. With the resemblance of Jaldapara National Park, the core of Gorumara also consists of numerous wildlife and flora and faunas. In Gorumara National Park there are 50 species of mammals, 194 species of birds where there are 22 types of different reptiles and 7 species of turtle along with fishes of 27 types of connotation among fishes in the river. Here you can see the famous one-horned Rhino, Asiatic Elephant, Indian Gaur, Chital, Sloth Bear, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, Boar, Leopard, etc. After this successful Jungle Safari, get back to your resort at Lataguri. Sightseeing at Jhallong, Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola, Murti

Day 5

After a quick breakfast get ready for a full day sightseeing at Jhallong, Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola and Murti. Begin the sightseeing excursion with Samsing, a quaint village situated on the bank of river Murti. After savouring the beautiful tea gardens of Samsing, proceed to Suntalekhola, the base for exploring Neora Valley National park. Next visit, Jhalong near Indo-Bhutan Border. It is a small hamlet located at the bank of the Jhallong River. Here you can see the merging of Jaldhaka and Jhallong River. Similarly, the Hydel project has established here too.
