Transfer to Chilapata from NJP or Bagdogra Airport
You will be first received by our representative at Bagdogra Airport or NJP. After the greeting formalities, you will be transferred to Chilapata. Quite contiguous to Jaldapara National Park, Chilapata Forest is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Dooars especially known for its unique flora and fauna. Moreover, Nalraja Garh or the ancient fort of Nal Kings is another prime tourist attraction here. Arrive and check into your resort. Freshen up and take some rest in the room. Now, you are completely free to stroll around the village for the rest of the day. You will be served dinner after evening. Finally, night halt at Chilapata.
Sightseeing at Jaldapara & South Khayerbari
On day 2 of your Chilapata Tour, after a light breakfast proceed for sightseeing at Jaldapara and South Khayerbari. First, visit Jaldapara, one of the finest National parks in West Bengal blessed with various flora and fauna. Reach Jaldapara after covering approx 80 km of road distance to witness wild animals like Asiatic One Horned Rhinoceros. Moreover, you can even indulge yourself in bird watching as it is the home of various birds like Green Pigeons, Hornbills, Barbets, Parakeets, Woodpeckers, Cuckoos, Orioles, Drongos, Babblers, Thrushes etc. Have lunch on the way towards South Khayerbari next. It is a charming village just 5 km away from Jaldapara. First go to the South Khayerbari Rescue Centre to witness rescued wild animals such as tigers and leopards are being treated in. Get back to the resort at Chilapata again. Evening at Leisure and after dinner, night halt at Chilapata.
Sightseeing at Phuentsholing & Jungle Safari at Chilapata
After a light breakfast, our driver will take you for sightseeing to Phuentsholing from where you can have a nice view of Bhutan. Get your inner line permits from the authority and experience the picturesque landscape. The next visit will be at Ammo Chhu crocodile breeding centre which is another destination for the wild animal enthusiast. Apart from this, you will be visiting Phuentsholing Park and Karbandi Monastery. Get back to your cosy resort, freshen up, have lunch and after having some rest, get ready for Jungle Safari at Chilapata. In the afternoon, you will have a thrilling safari in the Chilapata Forest. You will be visiting forest villages such as Kodalbasti and CC line. Then you will be taken to the banks of river Torsa. (Jungle Safari is to be arranged by the guests directly by paying additional amount to the forest department and the cost of the Jungle Safari is not included in this package). After Jungle Safari, return back to the resort again. Finally, overnight stay at Chilapata.
Transfer to NJP/ Bagdogra
The last day of 3 Nights 4 Days Chilapata Tour Package. Wake up early in the morning with a sweeter memory of the ravishing tour to Dooars. Our car will lead you to the returning point in NJP railway station or Bagdogra Airport. The road will make you to remember the joyous moment you spent in Dooars. Finally, after reaching NJP station or Bagdogra, the tour comes to the end.
