Transfer to Lataguri & Jungle Safari at Gorumara
You will be received and greeted by our official at New Malbazaar Junction, NJP or Bagdogra Airport. Then proceed to Lataguri which takes about two and half hours to reach from NJP or Bagdogra Airport. The village is adjacent to Gorumara National park known for its rich tropical forest, multitudinous hill streams and complete serenity of nature. Have lunch on the way or after reaching you pre-booked resort. After having some rest, get ready for a fascinating Jungle Safari at Gorumara. Witness Bison, Barking Deer, Rhinoceros and various other wild animals while enjoying Safari through the lush green forest of Gorumara. However, it is worth mentioning that the Jungle Safari is subjected to the availability of the ticket and everyone has to personally stand in the queue carrying original government-issued photo identity card for obtaining the tickets. Get back to the resort again and take rest. In the evening witness a magnificent sunset and enjoy the hypnotizing sound of cicada. Finally, after being served a delicious dinner, overnight stay at Lataguri.
Sightseeing at Jhallong, Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola
After breakfast, take a drive for a full day sightseeing of Jhallong, Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola and Murti. Begin the sightseeing excursion with Samsing, a sleepy hamlet situated in the bank of shimmering river Murti. Samsing is a newer addition in the Dooars map for its tranquil landscape and unpolluted surroundings. After savouring the beautiful tea gardens of Samsing, proceed to Suntalekhola, the base for exploring Neora Valley National park. Next visit, Jhalong near Indo-Bhutan Border to behold its Hydro Electric project on River Jaldhaka. You will also be taken to Bindu to witness and enjoy the view of cardamom plantation, pristine nature and countless migratory birds flying here and there. Murti is the Last one to explore on the way back to the resort at Lataguri. After relishing the beauty of Muri River and walking for a bit by the riverside, return to your resort. Have dinner and overnight stay at Lataguri.
Transfer to Jaldapara
Wake up early to have breakfast, check out from the resort and say farewell to Lataguri. Start a thrilling journey with our skilled driver towards Jaldapara through the route of lush forest. Jaldapara is a village nestled beside the alluring Jaldapara National Park known for its surrounding lush green vegetation and the various wildlife of Jaldapara. Reach your resort at Jaldapara after having a journey of 85 km within 2 hours. Now, freshen up and have some rest. In the remaining day, wander around the adjacent places or at leisure. After having dinner, overnight stay at Jaldapara.
Sightseeing at Phuentsholing & Chilapata
After early morning breakfast, get ready to be driven towards Phuentsholing with our skilled driver. Reach Phuentsholing within 1 hour from Jaldapara after covering approx. 30 km of road distance. It is the Southern Border town of Bhutan to witness one of the finest structures named Bhutan Gate which is ornamented with vibrant colors and cravings of Dragon. Later visit the Ammo Chuu Crocodile Breeding Center and and a Buddhist Monastery named Karbandi. After lunch, drive towards Chilapata, a dense forest near the Jaldapara National park. It is a natural Elephant corridor between Jaldapara and Buxa. The ruin of ancient Nalraja Fort is the major attraction here. Get back to the resort again and after dinner, overnight stay at Jaldapara.
Transfer to Jayanti
On day 5 of this Dooars Tour Plan for 6 Nights 7 Days, you will be transferred to Jayanti with our skilled driver. Crowned as the Queen of Dooars, Jayanti is a small village within Buxa Tiger Reserve in the Alipurduar district of West Bengal. After a journey of 2 hours from Jaldapara, reach your resort at Jayanti. Freshen up after checking into the resort. Rest of the day can be spent by strolling around this scenic village or at leisure. Finally, have dinner for an overnight stay at Jayanti.
Sightseeing at Buxa & Jayanti
Be well prepared for a full day sightseeing in and around Jayanti after having a light breakfast. Visit the ruins of Buxa Fort first where the great freedom fighters like Subhash Chandra Bose had been captivated by the British. Rajabhatkhawa will be your next sightseeing, a tiny village inside Buxa Tiger Reserve where you will get to see various wild animals from the watchtower of Rajabhatkhawa. Later, you will be taken to Pokhri Hill to witness its divine lake where countless magur fishes and decade-old turtles can be sighted. Next one is TGN Watchtower to catch the finest vista of different kind of wild animals like Bison, Rhino, Deer, etc can be sighted. Mahakal Cave is the last tourist attraction to visit. It is on the bank of Jayanti River and considered to be a holy site solely dedicated to Lord Shiva. Back to the resort again after this successful excursion. After being served dinner, overnight stay at Jayanti.
Transfer to New Alipurduar
After early morning breakfast, check out from the resort, bid adieu to the fascinating Dooars and then start a returning journey towards New Alipurduar Junction. Finally, after reaching your drop off point, Dooars Tour Plan for 6n 7d comes to an end but with a heap of cheerful memories.
